Aging as an Art Form: Notes From the Far Side of Youth

Aging as an Artform  empowers and gives  purpose and community to a group of 6-10 author/artists.  They embraced and celebrated their lived experiences both in the past and as they look toward the future.

The exhibit will include original artwork created for this project.

Reading & Reception:
Sept 3, 6:00 pm
Open Book Performance Hall and Literary Commons Gallery

These author/artists met and wrote from January-June 2026. The essays are meant to honor and celebrate the comedy of the human condition by drawing on the participants’ experiences with the  elderly – themselves or others. These are general works that will include strategies for coping and may serve as inspiration to others.
